These Official Rules govern the Vera Wang Ultimate Bridal Experience Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) offered by Macys.com, Inc. (“Sponsor”). Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 1, 2014 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on January 31, 2014 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and who have a Qualified Registry on macys.com or at a Macy’s store. Employees of Sponsor, Vera Wang and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each such employee are not eligible. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

To enter: To participate in the Sweepstakes, create a Macy’s gift registry at any participating Macy’s store or online at www.macys.com/registry, which includes at least one (1) Vera Wang Wedgwood product (a “Qualified Registry”). Then, during the Sweepstakes Period, visit macys.com/winverawang and follow all on-screen instructions to fill out and submit the entry form, including providing the registry identification number assigned to your Qualified Registry. If you have not already created a registry, you may follow the on-screen instruction to create a Qualified Registry. Entrant must complete all required steps and provide all required information to receive an eligible entry.

Alternate Method of Entry by Mail-In: To participate without creating a Qualified Registry, mail a 3″x5″ piece of paper with your name, home mailing address, email address, day/evening phone numbers, and date of birth in an envelope with proper postage to Vera Wang Ultimate Bridal Experience Sweepstakes, c/o Macy’s, 1440 Broadway, 13th Floor, New York, NY 10018. All requests must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2014 and received by February 7, 2014 in order to be included in the Sweepstakes. All requests must be hand printed, separately mailed and become the exclusive property of the Sponsor. None will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage-due requests, all of which will not be honored.

Online entrant must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account (as specified by the Internet Service Provider) used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. Entries made by any individual or any entity other than the named entrant and/or originating at any other Internet Website, including (but not limited to) commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites are void.

Limit: You may only enter the Sweepstakes once, whether by opening a Qualified Registry or using the alternate means of entry. Subsequent attempts made by the same individual to submit multiple entries by using multiple or false contact information or otherwise may be disqualified. Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, programmed, robotic or other automated means are void and may be disqualified. Entries that are in excess of the stated limits, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, damaged, destroyed, forged, false, lost, late or misdirected, deceptive or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes, at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. All materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. The website’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.

Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the following items/services:

  • One (1) Vera Wang gown valued up to $5,000. Winner is responsible for the cost of any alterations to the gown not included in the standard alterations offered by Sponsor or undertaken independently by the winner after fitting and receipt of the gown. Once the gown has been fitted and ordered, it will take a minimum of two (2) months to be delivered to winner.
  • Winner will receive a trip for winner and a guest to New York, or Los Angeles (to be determined solely by Sponsor based on winner’s location) to select the gown and have a fitting. Trip will include economy round-trip airfare for two (2) from a major airport in the contiguous United States that is nearest to winner’s residence, two (2) nights double-occupancy hotel accommodations, and airport transfers at destination. If winner resides in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico winner will be responsible for transportation to the mainland United States and Sponsor will provide airfare to the destination city. Winner is solely responsible for meals, incidental expenses, tips and gratuities, income and other taxes, transportation between winner’s home and gateway airport, ground transportation and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein. The winner and guest must travel round-trip on the same itinerary. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability and black-out dates may apply. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Sweepstakes. If winner resides within one hundred (100) miles of anticipated destination and/or in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to anticipated destination, ground transportation for winner and guest will be substituted for round-trip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion and no additional compensation will be provided. Should winner elect to travel without a guest, prize will be awarded in increments appropriate for one (1) traveler and no substitute prize or compensation will be awarded in conjunction therewith. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of trip portion of the Prize: $2,500.
  • Vera Wang Fine China Service for eight (8) consisting of dinnerwear, stemware and flatware. Winner will select from patterns available at Macy’s. ARV: $3,300.
  • Pair of Vera Wang toasting flutes and a Vera Wang with Love Noir Cake Knife and Server. ARV: $135

ARV of complete Grand Prize is $10,935. Prize must be redeemed by March 1, 2015. Five (5) First Runner Up winners will each receive a pair of Vera Wang toasting flutes and a Vera Wang with Love Noir Cake Knife and Server. ARV: $135.

Ten (10) Second Runner Up winners will each receive a pair of Vera Wang toasting flutes. ARV: $75.
