I’m 60 with 2 son’s in their 30’s. Since my husband and I lost our house in Mountain Home, AR from a fire in 2003, when we were visiting my brother in WA things have went downhill. My mom has serious heart trouble, so we managed to build a house in Texas to take care of her and my dad in their 80’s. I miss the Ozarks and I miss our connection to the place where my children were born. We gave our oldest son the property on Bull Shoals Lake and my youngest son was given the place that burnt down on White River with a creek bed that runs into the White River. Both places are beautiful and in the trees would be the sound of the water running and seeing the river or seeing the lake from a bluff would be the perfect Mom’s treehouse. Either place would be a piece of art and you could have a lot of freedom for the design of your choice. I would be able to visit the kids 3 to 4 months out of the year without being underfoot. Having a place to call my own with the serenity of nature and going home would be great. My husband, bless his heart is 63 and back to work as a police officer for the county. It’s not like we will ever have the money to build a vacation treat, especially a treehouse. Sorry, I would have to send photos the old fashion way, text or email. lol
